Antique Charles Parker (Best Quality) Post Coffee Grinder/Mill Early Design
This Antique Original Charles Parker (Best Quality) Post Mounted Coffee Grinder/Mill was found at an estate sale, and is in very good condition. It is a very Early Design with the Fineness Thumb Screw located on the rear.
Due to the many patents and illustrations in the Macmillan Index, it's hard to nail it down to a specific date or model number, if anybody out there has more info, I'd appreciate the input. It is very similar to Grinders which had Parker's patents for his first Grinder in the year 1818.
The Lid has a slight dent. This Cast Iron and Tin Grinder operates very smoothly as you turn the hand Crank, all Hardware is Original. The Grinder measures approximatly 8 3/4" W (includes Handle) X 10" H (includes Handle) X 7 D (includes Handle and Fineness Thumb Screw). The Mounting Board itself measures approximatly 8 1/18" X 5 3/4" X 3/4 thick, the board has 3 countersunk holes.
