Fantasic looking antique coffee mill / grinder - "WADDEL's Improved Coffee Mill" patent date May 15th 1888 with original tin catch cup, but it is missing a piece that attaches to inside of door that slides cup in and out. From another source tin cup label would have read. Waddell's improved coffee mill is offered to "suffering humanity" as an article long needed. The handle to carry the mill and to hold while grinding on the table or in the lap and the round tin cup to be emptied without spilling the coffee are improvements which cannot be denied. Condition: Missing catch cup door slide piece, door handle loose, no cast iron breaks, all mechanisms work as they should, some finish loss, some label loss on door & cup, one side as wood grain split.
