1900's ANTIQUE COFFEE GRINDER: Boat & Lighthouse, Brass & Wood, French Stamped! Scenes of countryside and sailboats at sea on the sides.

These scenes have been applied over tin and are now cracking and peeling due to age. Grinding mechanism is either steel or cast iron. The bowl is NOT magnetic and is made out of brass. MAKE: Michael Friederich & Sohn (although it is not clear officially stamped anywhere it has many similarities to this maker but I could be wrong).

MEASURES: 10.25" base to top of crank handle, box is 5.75" high to top plate. 6.5" across (width) of the top plate as well as the same 6.5" for the bottom (width) base/plate. CONDITION: Wood handle is loose but stays in place as designed.

Rust on the inner teeth has formed where the grounds are chewed. Wood has knicks and scratches.

Scenery applied to the 4 sides is beginning to crack and peel. Appears to be in current functional use if cleaned and given a bit of TLC. Signature confirmation for high value items is required.
