This is a fabulous antique coffee grinder. Stamped into the back is the patent date of 1890 and the manufacture date of 1896.

This is the real thing. It comes with its original aluminum can. It is a wall-mounted unit, it stands off the wall and a very untraditional 45° angle as opposed to the flat mount that you see on most of these. Very sturdy and solid and in excellent condition the grinding mechanism works smoothly and the whole unit measures about 12 inches tall.
