Antique 19th c Brass Spice Pepper Grinder / Coffee Mill Middle East Hand Grinder
Brass Spice Grinder / Coffee Mill. Solid metal interior working parts. I have never seen a spice grinder quite like this one before. The hand etching is very detailed and very well done. There's even etching on the bottom part of the metal grinding apparatus, as well as the top of the metal on the handle.
And yes, you'll see in the images that the knob is etched as well. Mind you, I've never used it, but the handle does turn smoothly and the grinding wheels turn well. Comes apart easily in 4 pieces, and when assembled, everything fits snugly.
10 1/2" to top of dome - 2" diameter (26.67cm by 5cm). 1 pound 9 1/2 ounces (723 g).NO DENTS NO RUST SPOTS on the brass. If there are any scratches, which I don't really see, they are minor surface scratches appropriate for a piece of this age. You will see in images 8 and 9 that there is some rust on the interior metal parts. Please, check out my other items for sale.
