Antique American early to mid 19th. Century dovetailed walnut coffee grinder is signed E.
Researching the internet has failed to reveal that person or anyone by that name who made coffee grinders. Century Pennsylvania coffee grinders are not rare , however this maker appears uncommon or rare. The piece is in used untouched condition as seen in the photos.There is a split in the base board. The pewter hopper shows dents and there are a few paint flecks present.
The drawer has square nail construction and tulip poplar secondary wood. Width 7 5/8" Height 5" Ht. From base to top of handle 10 1/2. The piece is offered as found without repairs or restorations.
