Made in Freeport, Illinois between 1883 to 1915. It's working with adjustable grind settings.
The fly wheel is 16 in diameter. The base is 13 high. Overall, the mill is 16 1/4"H x 16 1/8"W x 141/2D.The grinder is in working condition (see video). Nicely reconditioned for long use. Stover started in the 1860s with a windmill, followed by a corn cultivator, and then inventing and manufacturing machinery of various kinds under the name Stover Experimental Works. Circa1880, Stover incorporated as Stover Manufacturing Co. There was also the Stover Engine Works and the Stover Bicycle Co.
In 1916 the Stover companies amalgamated to form Stover Manufacturing & Engine Co.
