They laughed and said no this was an item their great grandfather had in their country store years ago. Sadly they the top had been lost many years ago. They went on to ask me if I would like this for myself.
Once they heard that they were even happier to give this to me. The condition speaks for itself. It comes with the metal can to catch the beans. I took a video to show that it still turns perfectly.
There are a few dings, chips and scratches. The patent date is March 9 1897.
What a piece of history. It weighs close to 40 pounds.
This is about 19" tall, 17" deep and 15 wide. As previously described the top canister is missing. There are many things that can be put on top or personally it could be left as it is. The paint still looks great and very red.
Lately it seems that every job I do, my clients have been providing me with items they either no longer need, want or have room for. I get a little bit of everything. I currently have two warehouse units full of things to sell. Please check out all my current listings and follow me to see my future listings. As a mover, I come across everything. I have furniture, clothing, books, baseball cards, appliances and more. Stay safe and thank you for taking the time to visit my store and read this add.
