This old circa late 19th or early 20th century coffee grinder measures 13-1/2" tall x 6-3/4" square with rounded corners and weighs over 4 pounds. It features a distinctive concave mahogany and mahogany burl veneer wood case, a brass hopper and handle, an iron grinding mechanism, a dovetailed drawer, a wood knob on the drawer, and modified ball feet. A marking on the bottom may be 1900.
It is in good condition showing some crinkling in the veneer and small dents in the brass hopper. The grinding mechanism is intact and turns easily. It was not tested, but would appear to be functional. A great unique shaped old kitchen appliance from a past era that may be European in origin! NOTE: Although it appears to to be in good working condition, we cannot guarantee it will grind coffee to your satisfaction.THANKS FOR VISITING LANE'S COUNTRY LARK!
