So maybe you never saw a flip grinder before. I should really take before pictures cuz this 18th century LANDERS FRARY AND CLARK was a wad of useless, when I got it. These originally came with a glass bean hopper that was like a mason jar (only one opening) and it threaded onto the top of the grinder. How do you put the jar on this thing when it's full of beans?
The entire grinder is mounted on a swivel mounting wall bracket, a thumbscrew and VOILĂ€ it flipped upside down for easy bean hopper removal, DER! Oh you want to know more about the grinder? Produced since 1905 as per raised numbers in castings.
I have added a covered, valved bean hopper (all copper) a valved catch cup, also all copper Gold leaf accents a brass crank the flip style wall mount (solid brass) and WOW!!! This machine will come with instructions, hardware and a summery history of its reconstruction. See all pics, and the rest of my site if you like. By the way, we call this one, "THE ROSE GARDEN" it is magnificent. Delivered ready to grind on its 100 year old black walnut footed display.
