Antique Coffee Grinder (RARE)

Had a very unique approach to design as well as casting ability. This early model was improved on over the years. It was the first vertical shaft, horizontal burr grinder (with ball bearings) ever made. It's easy sliding lever grind adjust, unique and easy to use. Although when I found this one, it was missing its bean hopper and catch cup. I hope you find my additions satisfactory.

The fluted brass hopper has a copper liner that also works as a measuring device it has a nearly air tight and chained on lattice designed lid. The grinding portion of this exquisitely redesigned machine has additional bearings at all friction points in its offset universal joint drive system.

This machine turns quietly and has a one to one gear driven and horizontal burr grinding mechanism. The cranking handle is solid brass and spiraled design gives a very comfortable feel to this very strong grinder, it turns freely. My favorite part, the catch cup is a reversible easy twist on off design and is also chained to the unit.

The safety chain may be detached easily but is meant to keep parts from ever being mistreated lost or stolen. SEE ALL PICTURES THEY ARE DESCRIPTION.
