Antique Coles #2 Coffee grinder. I have totally restored this very rare grinder to the way it was made over 100 years ago. I took the grinder completely apart and then striped all of the old lead paint and cleaned everything so that I could bring it back to the way it was when new. I primed and painted it in it's original colors.

I then had the original decals reproduced and applied them to the grinder as it came from their factory. All of the gold lettering and striping is done by my daughter who is an artist and are done perfectly. The grinding gears were in fantastic condition except for being extremely dirty so I cleaned all of the old grounds and grease and now it can be used to grind coffee again. I take great pride in my work and make sure that I only restore grinders that have been neglected and are in need of restoration. This grinder had all of it's original parts except for the base and the drawer.

I made a new base and I also made a new drawer as it was made by the factory. I have another grinder that I could use as a template to recreate these parts.

The grinder is a very nice size to display anywhere. It only weighs 13 1/2 lbs. It stands 12" tall and the wheels are 9 3/4" in diameter. I make every effort to research how the grinders looked when they were made originally so that they look exactly the same. The item "Antique Coles #2 Coffee Grinder Mill.
