It is marked with a patent date of Oct. 21, 1873 on the outside of the grinder. This is a first run production grinder second production run being in 1898. Enterprise manufacturing was established out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Grinder is in all original condition.

There are not cracks, chips, or hairline fractures on this piece. Its beautiful original paint shows signs of excellent gold leaf paint, original but faded decals, and an all round excellent aged patina. It has its original wooden drawer with No. 3 painted and porcelain knob. It measures approximately 14 inches high with 2 wheels being 10 7/8 inches in diameter.
