The actual grinding mechanism is metal with a wooden handle. The coffee grind collection vessel is of clear glass.

This grind vessel has a chip off one corner (see photos). There are also two very minute nicks on the porcelain to the right of the Eiffel Tower (see photos).

The porcelain bean holder has a plastic cover that snaps on. There are four screw/ nail holes to secure the grinder to a wall. It weighs just under 3 1/2 lbs. And measures 12 in length. It is 4 7/8" wide and protrudes 7" from the wall to the tip of the handle. The photos say it all. Please view photos for condition details.
