This is the oldest victorian coffee grinder that I have seen and a very interestig style. Nice tongue in groove or dovetail corners. Ornate handle on side and top, with wood knob. The drawer has tin side and wood bottom. There are darkened remains of a label on the front. All I can make out at this point is "QUICK". You open the coffee been chamber on the top with the screw on/off lid. There is a section of the bottom that has broken away or has been removed as shown. That does not detract from the beauty and uniqueness of this piece. Not including the top hand, this measures approx 7.5" high x 6.5 x 6.75". Untested, but charmingly primitive early americana.
