Antique Swift Mill Lane Bros # 13 Coffee Grinder. Immaculately Restored

Antique Swift Mill by Lane Bros. This grinder was in need of restoration because of years of neglect. It had almost no paint left on it but all of the original parts were present and in decent condition. I stripped all of the old lead paint from the grinder and then primed and painted it in it's original colors. I then hand striped everything and had my daughter do all of the lettering which she always does on my grinders.

She is an artist and has a very steady hand. I then had all of the original decals reproduced and applied them in their original locations so that it is now actually better than new. The grinding plates are in as new condition and it will grind a very fine coffee.

The wheels turn true and smoothly. If you look at the last 2 pictures you can see that the drawer decal is different that what is on it now. That decal didn't look correct so I found a picture of an original that was in excellent condition and was able to have the exact decal made for the drawer. I try to make my grinders as they were originally decorated and don't try to embellish them with anything extra.

They were beautiful the way they were and I always try to recreate their factory appearance. This is a rare grinder to add to your collection or to use it to grind coffee again for another 100 years.

The grinder stands 18" tall and the wheels are 11 3/4 " in diameter. You will not be disappointed.
