This brass grinder is an absolute espresso workhorse. I have the Zassenhaus version and this one grinds at least as good, but just a bit faster. Please note that this is a true German quality grinder, from one of the best grinder manufacturers to have existed. It is not one of the cheap, no-name grinders.
A brass grinder from KYM seems to be fairly rare. I don't know if I've ever seen another. This one could certainly use a good polishing, and the brass actually has some fractures. They don't affect performance, though. The last picture shows how you can flip the pieces around and store the handle inside the grinder body. The item "Vintage KYM Brass German Coffee Grinder" is in sale since Saturday, February 6, 2021.
